PWN Technologies presented the design of the largest ceramic membrane plant of the world at the SIWW 2010

PWN Technologies hosted a Networking reception on Sunday 27 June, on the evening before the start of the Singapore International Water Week 2010, the most important annual event in Asia for the water industry.

At One on the Bund in Singapore, in the historic Clifford Pier along the waterfront charm of Marina Bay Pieter Spohr, CEO, gave an opening speech and was followed by Jonathan Clement, Director of Strategic Business Development. He stipulated the Global impact of PWN Technologies’ solutions.

One of the highlights was the launch of the brandnew design of the largest ceramic membrane plant in the world by Peer Kamp, CTO. An animation showed the design of this innovative plant that will be built in the Netherlands and has a capacity of 120.000 m2 per day.

Leo Commandeur, Director International Projects, showed the specific emergency solutions and advanced water treatments for developing countries, including the development of a new very light water treatment unit for search and rescue teams world wide.

During the evening PWN technologies signed a MOU with Metawater Japan and RWB on the development of ceramic membrane plants. And for collaboration in the Vietnam market a MOU was signed with HOWACO. Both parties see huge opportunities in Vietnam regarding the use of the easily installed package water treatment systems, the Perfectors.

In attendance a wide variety of guests including the policy makers, water utilities, consultants and prominent water leaders. All the guests expressed their appreciation for the event. There were many compliments on the location of the reception and the quality and selection of food and wine.
